My madre is in that chorus!
I couldn’t get sound on the video but you should watch it anyway and trust me they are amazing, they are part of the Sweet Adelines association which…um, is these women getting together and singing barbershop style and putting on shows for the community as well as the Regional competitions which feature chorus’s from several states getting together and singing. It is astounding how good these women sound, I have gone to see my madre and them perform several times and they take my breath away. Plus they are funny gals, the choreography perfectly complements the song and they occassionally tell jokes…bad ones, but they still manage to make the audience laugh. Anway I’m sure you’ll see my madre (aka, purple dragon lady) comment on this, if only to correct my facts and flesh out what Sweet Adelines is. So yeah, the reason for this post is that my madre sent me the link to the news story in an e-mail and I was so excited that I figured I could share it with all of you. Have fun!

So we had a blizzard last night, they’ve shut down from the Wyoming border to Wall (Home of the famous Wall Drug Store) and they’ve restricted traffic in my town to only emergency vehicles. Yeah, it’s insane! So I thought I’d grace you all with pictures of the insanity and my buried car!
