week in a flash (week 21)

1. We have a slight invasion of box-elder bugs here at the hotel and every morning I can hear my landlord walking around the complex killing them with a fly-swatter…I think the bugs are winning the war

2. The other day I went to log in to wordpress and I accidentally misspelled my username as “gothiqued,” I’m thinking there’s some significance there, so what do you think the definition of “gothiqued” is?  I haven’t decided yet, I’ll let you know when I figure it out in the meantime feel free to toss me a few definitions.  :D

3. Leaving for Denver on Thursday with the PRSSA club on campus and I’m excited but at the same time I kind of wish that I could go solo in my own vehicle and stay there all weekend…oh well, I’m sure I’ll have fun anyway!!

4. Been eating Pork and Chicken Eggrolls and Cheese Wontons this week…Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!  I’m becoming corrupted, aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

5. Days to graduation = 41

6. In reference to the above – it hit me the other day that by the end of the month I’ll have a little over a month before I’ll be a graduate and then it occurred to me that by Thanksgiving it’ll be just a few weeks and I’ll be done with school…I think I’ve moved past the excited stage and am now in the freakout stage…

7. I miss writing stories…  :(

9. I just learned that Yellowcard is going to come out with a new CD, eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was apparently wrong when I said a few months ago that they were broken up and I couldn’t be happier… you know, about being wrong??!!

week in a flash (week 7)

1. Ok first of all, I’m going to re-direct ya’ll, temporarily, because you have to check out what my friend Nor is doing. I thought about doing this when he first posted it and re-considered for some reason.  But I know if there is anything in the next few months worth doing it is getting onboard with what Nor has put together.  It’s called “Storm Stories: volume 2.”  The first one was a year or so ago and I will tell you that it was the best, most worthwhile, freeing, beautiful thing I have ever done within this little blog community I have had the honor of being a part of these past few years.  So go, join in (and while you are at it take a look at what the first “Storm Stories” brought about). 

2. A little side note, I wholeheartedly encourage you to check out Thrive while you are at it.  I’ve had the pleasure of getting acquainted with the founder of the organization through this blog community & since Nor’s project involves her organization, I see no reason why I can’t shamelessly plug both :D.

6. Saw Avatar: The Last Airbender last week, and I cannot believe I forgot to mention it because it was Awesome!!!!

7. Already a week into my summer class and man is it going to keep me on my toes.
