week in a flash (week 21)

1. We have a slight invasion of box-elder bugs here at the hotel and every morning I can hear my landlord walking around the complex killing them with a fly-swatter…I think the bugs are winning the war

2. The other day I went to log in to wordpress and I accidentally misspelled my username as “gothiqued,” I’m thinking there’s some significance there, so what do you think the definition of “gothiqued” is?  I haven’t decided yet, I’ll let you know when I figure it out in the meantime feel free to toss me a few definitions.  :D

3. Leaving for Denver on Thursday with the PRSSA club on campus and I’m excited but at the same time I kind of wish that I could go solo in my own vehicle and stay there all weekend…oh well, I’m sure I’ll have fun anyway!!

4. Been eating Pork and Chicken Eggrolls and Cheese Wontons this week…Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!  I’m becoming corrupted, aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

5. Days to graduation = 41

In reference to the above – it hit me the other day that by the end of the month I’ll have a little over a month before I’ll be a graduate and then it occurred to me that by Thanksgiving it’ll be just a few weeks and I’ll be done with school…I think I’ve moved past the excited stage and am now in the freakout stage…

9. I just learned that Yellowcard is going to come out with a new CD, eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was apparently wrong when I said a few months ago that they were broken up and I couldn’t be happier… you know, about being wrong??!!

week in a flash (week 5)

Sorry I forgot yesterday about posting “week-in-a-flash” that & I’m still pretty exhausted.

1. Wanted to share with you some of the more hilarious names of towns and counties out here in SoDak – Minnehaha (say the last part like you’re actually laughing, you know like “ha, ha”), Pukwana (gotta accent the Puk, otherwise it’s not funny), Woonsocket (drag the first two o‘s out for a while, awesome!), Winner (if you’ve ever seen The Fifth Element then you know that you gotta say this one like the little card that the Bruce Willis character gets about the contest, otherwise say it fast and don’t drag anything out).

3. I read a news article about a beach in Asbury Park, NJ that is considering letting women go topless and they have a quote from a yoga instructor where she says that women are “organically deciding” to go topless.  What does that even mean?  “Organically deciding”?
