1. I think I’m off on my “days to graduation” countdown so I’m going to re-count and have it back up next week, I promise.
2. Heard this on Law & Order a few weeks back from the guy who plays Detective Lupo ~ “Being Goth never killed anybody.” Awesome, right? ;)
3. So I watched one of TNT’s “More Movie…Less Commercials” movies a little while ago and I got curious after the first commercial break how long it would last. You see, I have this pet theory that the closer it gets to the end of a movie (or show) the more commercials they show so I counted them. The first three commercial breaks were indeed “Less Commercials” as there was only one commercial on each of those commercial breaks BUT the next four commercial breaks went up to eight commercials and then nine. I didn’t time how long they took, that’ll be the next pet project, hahahaha!!
4. Went down to Denver on a whirlwind trip this weekend. It was fun. There was some friction amongst the seven of us females but somehow we survived intact. :D That being said, I absolutely LOVE Denver!! I know, I’m wierd.
5. While we were in Denver me and two other girls went to Dave & Busters the restaraunt that has arcade games – it’s like Chuckee Cheese but for grownups. It was a blast! As we were leaving (with only 66 tickets for all of our hard work) we decided to try these ‘wheel o’ fortune’ like games that gave out anywhere from 1000 to 40 tickets. The 1000 tickets being the biggest prize and consequently the hardest to get. The other two girls took several spins and won us about 2-300 tickets and then they cajoled and ‘encouraged’ me to take a turn. I was…hesitant…but I figured, why not? It’s all just fun anyway, right? Well I spun it AND WON THE 1000 TICKETS!!!!!!!! Yes, we went crazy, screaming and jumping up and down. It was fun!! So at the end of it I got a shot glass that has the Dave & Buster’s logo on it, a deck of cards with the Broncos logo on the back, a mini frisbee and a cheap little yo-yo. Yes, cheap, chintzy ‘toys’ and I love them! Lol!!
6. Only a few weeks before I get to go home for Thanksgiving and see my cat…oh yeah, and my parents (and any other family members that are there) ;)
7. I had my group presentation for my Org Comm class this past week. It went awesomely! We managed to get a lot of class participation even though only about 10% of the class actually read the case we were discussing, oh well!
8. I can’t wait to be done with school…
9. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually be able to watch TV like a normal person, you know regularly following shows on the major networks instead of just catching re-runs on the secondary networks *sigh*…one day soon…
10. Here comes crackdown time, not only are state elections getting close but so is the college graduation, I honestly can’t tell if I’m excited or freaked out…maybe both
11. Speaking of state elections (I’m opening the can here people) what do you guys think of how elections are going wherever it is that you are? Over here they are very interesting and I look forward to seeing how things turn out.
